Started by the Patterson family decades ago in Agora, CA as a history lesson for a home school organization, the Workshop In the Woods program has a long history of education through immersion.
We know that learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher. That's why all of our educators are highly accomplished in researching their specific areas of expertise. Our instructors are passionate about the subjects they teach and bring this enthusiasm into their courses.
We immerse your students in a situation that stimulates them and helps them learn history in a fun scenario through craft classes, physical activities, interesting lessons, and exotic presentations. We encourage further understanding through a socratic seminar style sharing of your students' experiences after their history day fun.
